Updated August 2025

Operator. NC Title Transfer Concierge (“NC Title Transfer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Ottoform LLC.

We’re committed to an inclusive experience for all customers, including people with disabilities. This statement outlines our standards, features, and how to request accommodations.

1) Overview

NC Title Transfer Concierge (“we,” “us”) strives to make our website and services usable by everyone. We follow industry standards and continuously improve design, code, and content so customers can complete DMV tasks independently or with reasonable accommodations as needed.

2) Commitment & Standard

  • Target standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
  • We consider ADA effective communication and reasonable accommodation principles in our operations.
  • Accessibility applies to our public website, intake forms, and customer communications we control.

3) Measures We Take

  • Design/system reviews for color contrast, semantics, and keyboard flows before shipping.
  • Periodic automated and manual audits; fixes prioritized in regular sprints.
  • Developer checklists, linting, and component patterns that encourage accessible defaults.
  • Vendor and third-party evaluations where feasible during procurement.

4) Accessible Features

  • Keyboard navigation: logical tab order, visible focus states, and skip-to-content patterns.
  • Color & contrast: palette selected to meet or exceed AA contrast targets.
  • Headings & landmarks: semantic HTML for screen reader structure.
  • Links & buttons: meaningful text; icons include accessible names.
  • Images/media: informative alt text; captions or transcripts when we publish media.
  • Forms: programmatic labels, instructions, and clear error messages.
  • Responsive/resizable: content reflows; text can be resized without loss of functionality.

5) Technical Specs

Accessibility relies on compatible combinations of browsers, assistive technology, and operating systems. Our site is built with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks and aims to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.

6) Browser/Device Compatibility

  • We support current major desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Older browsers or those without JavaScript may provide limited functionality.
  • Screen readers commonly tested: NVDA/JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android).

7) Conformance Status

Based on internal reviews and spot audits, our goal is substantial conformance to WCAG 2.2 AA. Some components or third-party content may not yet meet the standard; we track these as known issues and schedule remediation.

8) Feedback & Requests

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need an accommodation to access our services, contact us:

Please include the page URL, a brief description of the problem, and any assistive tech you’re using. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and provide a timeline for resolution or accommodation.

9) Alternative Formats

We can provide documents in alternative formats (e.g., large print, accessible PDFs, or text-only) upon request. Some official DMV forms are controlled by government agencies; we will assist in obtaining accessible versions when available.

10) Enforcement & Escalation

If you believe your concerns haven’t been addressed, ask to escalate to our accessibility coordinator. We will review within a reasonable timeframe and outline next steps. You may also pursue rights available under applicable laws.

11) Continuous Improvement

  • Regular review of new UI against WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Bug tracking for accessibility issues with target SLAs.
  • Training and checklists for designers, engineers, and content authors.

12) Third-Party Content

Our site may link to or embed content from third parties (e.g., maps, payment processors). We do not control their accessibility but select vendors that demonstrate progress toward WCAG conformance when possible.

13) Statement Date

This statement was last updated in August 2025 and is reviewed at least annually.
